The exhibition of traditional Croatian beaded jewellery was opened in “Stara skula” gallery in Goveđari on August 13th, followed by a three-day workshop on jewellery making crafts. This ethnographic exhibition attracted numerous local and foreign visitors. The workshop was attended by more than 40 participants, mostly women, and led by ethnologist Lucija Franic Novak and curator Vinka Marekovic, whose jewellery was used for the exhibition. An a capella vocal group from Mljet performed several traditional and popular songs during the inauguration ceremony. The exhibition is open until September 15th..
