On Tuesday, October 3rd, mayor of Mljet Municipality Đivo Market has awarded a recognition to Mljet National Park as a special thanks for contribution during the firefight season 2017.
The recognition was received by Mr. Ivo Stražičić, member of firefighting unit of Mljet National Park which was one of the most deserving for stopping the fire on August 22nd near Ropa on boarder with Park.
